BH G7 Disc & UL EVO Disc Rear Derailleur Hanger
Original part for BH
During assembly your derailleur hanger alignment is checked and corrected if necessary. While we take every reasonable precaution to protect the derailleur during shipping, it remains one of the more vulnerable parts on the bike to rough handling. For this reason it is imperative that you confirm correct derailleur hanger alignment when assembling the bicycle, along with rear derailleur limit settings.
Any reputable bicycle shop should have the tools and be able to perform this service for a modest fee. A derailleur hanger which is slightly out of alignment can easily be bent back into shape with the correct tool, but one severely bent or cracked will need to be replaced (in this case, contact us).
A bike with a bent hanger will not only shift poorly, but will be at risk of throwing the derailleur into the spokes of the rear wheel, which will destroy the derailleur, the wheel, and possibly the frame. This damage will not be covered under warranty by either the manufacturer or Glory Cycles, so make sure you check that alignment before riding!
